In response to news that MSNBC cancelled the Mehdi Hasan Show, IfNotNow national spokesperson Eva Borgwardt released the following statement:

“We’re deeply concerned that MSNBC has taken Mehdi Hasan’s show off air. He has been a vital voice holding those in power to account, providing a space for those questioning unconditional US support for Israel, and rigorously reporting on the news. It’s impossible to not see this cancellation as part of the sharp rise in anti-Muslim rhetoric and hate over the last two months.”
