In response to President Biden’s statement over X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Eva Borgwardt, national spokesperson of IfNotNow, released the following statement:

"For weeks, Americans calling for a lasting ceasefire have been saying that war only breeds more extremism and violence. If President Biden now agrees that war only benefits Hamas, he should work towards a permanent ceasefire and full hostage exchange instead of pushing for $14 billion in unconditional military aid to Israel."
