IfNotNow Responds to Intensified Assault on Gaza

In response to the Israeli government cutting off telecommunications to Gaza and intensifying its assault, IfNotNow National Spokesperson Eva Borgwardt released the following statement:

“The only moral thing President Biden and Congress can do in this critical moment is to push for an immediate end to the violence. Israel has cut Palestinians in Gaza off from each other and the rest of the world with this blackout. They have been starving and bombing civilians, and are now readying for a total ground invasion in an intentional information blackout out of view from the rest of the world. How many more people have to die before our leaders wake up and stop this bloodshed? Every day our leaders allow this to continue is another day of unfathomable loss of Palestinian life. Our leaders must call for a ceasefire now before even more blood is on their hands.”
