IfNotNow Responds to House Discharge Petition Effort

In response to news that, following an AIPAC lobbying day on Capitol Hill, House Democrats are pushing for a floor vote on the bill that includes over $14 billion in supplemental weapons funding to Israel, IfNotNow national spokesperson Eva Borgwardt released the following statement:

“The Israeli military is poised to invade Rafah, a move that would all but guarantee the slaughtering of the Palestinian refugees sheltering there, and AIPAC is on Capitol Hill today lobbying hard to give billions in unconditional aid to enable this impending massacre. We call on all Members of Congress of conscience to reject AIPAC’s agenda and oppose these weapons transfers."
