In addition to her support for a ceasefire, Rashida supported the Listen to Michigan campaign and recently voted uncommitted in the Michigan primary. A lifelong Michigander whose father worked a union job at Ford, she has also fought relentlessly for working families in her district, including by introducing landmark legislation like the End Childhood Poverty Act, which would reduce deep child poverty in the U.S. by 93%. Despite attacks on her character, identity, and humanity, Rashida has never stopped fighting for a better future for everyone.
