We’re Hiring!
IfNotNow is building a multiracial, multiethnic, cross-class movement of American Jews organizing our community to end US support for Israel’s apartheid system and call for equality, justice, and a thriving future for all Palestinians and Israelis. We are fighting for a vision of collective liberation: where Jewish safety does not come at the expense of others, but is intertwined with the liberation of all people.
We organize in the tradition of mass social movements, where ordinary people have the capacity to build power and drive change. We believe that the only way we will win is through volunteer power: when everyday people feel empowered to take initiative and exercise collective ownership over our movement. The role of IfNotNow staff is to support members by providing continuity for the work and devoting large portions of time to essential movement functions.
We are currently hiring for the following position:
The Communications Director is responsible for IfNotNow’s public voice and communications strategy across traditional and social media platforms. This role will lead the Communications Department to develop and implement critical narrative interventions in the discourse around Israel-Palestine as U.S. Jews. The Communications Director will also develop a coherent and compelling story about IfNotNow’s ongoing organizing in order to expand our base, unite opposition to fascism, and transform the U.S. Jewish community.
